CHOCOLATE FUDGE SAUCE

Rich, decadent and insanely delicious

You had me at chocolate. And then at fudge. And then at sauce…

For a long time, I was victim to buying store bought chocolate sauce rather than making my own, that is until I discovered that I had been hiding under a rock and there is NOTHING like fresh homemade, hot and silky smooth chocolate sauce!

If you ever need a quick, go too chocolate sauce then do not, I repeat, DO NOT run to the shops and make my mistake…I am here to rescue you!

Difficulty: Easy!

Parties aside though, sometimes there is nothing better than sitting down after a long day (or a long morning for us mums!) and enjoying something totally decadent, filled with totally necessary calories and a cup of strong coffee. And, as you might be able to see, I couldn’t even wait for mine to set before I dived right in… I blame my dessert addiction...

And by rescue, I mean start you a healthy habit of drinking this chocolate drizzle.

This stuff is a chocolate addicts dream and can be used to top anything with a swirl of decadence. From ice-cream to cakes, milkshakes to french toast there’s no telling where the limits end… I have so many recipes that involve using this chocolate sauce and so it’s perfect that I can make it in bulk and keep it in an air tight jar for the week to use for everything I need…not that it ever lasts that long!
